We are always on the lookout for new, expert, and reputable contractors to join our network.

We prioritise supporting local economies by collaborating with contractors near the developments we manage. This proximity allows them to quickly respond to any urgent needs and develop a deep understanding of the properties they service.

To ensure the highest standards of safety and quality for our residents, we require all potential service providers to complete our rigorous accreditation process. This process verifies that the service providers we work with possess the necessary qualifications, skills and expertise to meet our stringent requirements.

Approved contractors only

All services that are delivered to each development are provided by approved third-party contractors, who are entirely independent of Premier Estates.

Approval of a contractor involves ensuring they are appropriately qualified and insured for the tasks they will be undertaking. We ensure they comply with health and safety requirements and constantly monitor their work for quality and value for money.

Wherever possible and appropriate, our preference is to use contractors who are based locally to a development.

Premier Estates does not charge contractors for accreditation, nor do we take any commissions or any other form of remuneration for their work. Our only interest is that the contractor completes quality work in a cost effective and timely manner.

 

Ensuring value for money

All regular maintenance services, including landscape maintenance, cleaning, window cleaning, lift maintenance, fire precautions equipment, are delivered under contracts.

The contracts clearly set out the scope of work, frequency, cost, KPI’s and termination provisions. These contracts are periodically re-tendered to ensure value for money is obtained.

Ad-hoc, routine repairs and maintenance are carried out by approved contractors working under a written works order.

All work undertaken at the development is inspected by our Estates Manager during their routine development inspections before a purchase invoice is authorised for payment.

Our Approved Contractor List ensures the best quality services are provided to our residents. To obtain your ‘Approved Status’ to work with Premier Estates, we require:

  • A copy of your Health & Safety policy
  • A copy of your Public Liability Insurance policy
  • Your VAT Registration number (if applicable)
  • Trade references from other customers
  • Details of your membership of any trade associations or professional bodies
  • A copy of your statement about your staff training and development policy
