A New Chapter for Premier Estates

After nearly three decades at the heart of Premier Estates, our founder and Chairman, Ben Jordan, is stepping away from the company he built from the ground up.

Since founding Premier Estates in 1998, Ben has played a pivotal role in shaping the UK’s residential property management sector. What began as a small team of three managing just 300 homes in Macclesfield has grown into one of the UK’s leading property management companies, now responsible for over 35,000 properties across England and Wales, supported by more than 220 dedicated team members.

In 2021, Premier Estates became part of Odevo, an international group of residential property management companies. This partnership has strengthened our foundations with access to advanced technology, compliance expertise, and new opportunities for professional development, supporting our vision for continued, sustainable growth.

A Legacy of Leadership and Integrity

Reflecting on his journey, Ben shared:

“Starting Premier Estates was a career-defining moment for me, and watching it grow into a company that now looks after tens of thousands of homes has been incredibly rewarding. The time now feels right to move on and take some space to explore new opportunities.

Customer service has always been at the heart of our business, and our reputation was built on doing the right thing and putting residents first. One of my greatest achievements has been building such a talented and dedicated team. I leave confident that Premier Estates is in very capable hands, and I know Lisa and the management team will continue to uphold the values that have always been important.”

Ben’s influence extends far beyond Premier Estates. As Chairman of the Association of Residential Managing Agents (ARMA) in 2012, he championed higher industry standards through the creation of ARMA-Q, a landmark self-regulatory accreditation scheme. That commitment to professionalism continues today through The Property Institute, which evolved from ARMA and continues to raise the bar across the sector.

The Future: Led by Managing Director, Lisa Fantom

Taking the helm is Managing Director Lisa Fantom, who has been part of Premier Estates since 2007. A qualified accountant, Lisa first joined as Finance Director before stepping into her current role in 2018. Under her leadership, the business has seen substantial growth and expanded its geographical footprint, managing a wide range of developments, including complex multi-phase schemes in London.

Lisa reflected on Ben’s departure:

“Ben was a big reason I joined Premier Estates, his passion and integrity have always been inspiring. He cares deeply about people, both the residents we serve and the team who deliver for them every day, and that ethos remains at the heart of our business.

As part of Odevo, we’re embracing exciting opportunities ahead, such as introducing market-leading technology through our sister company, Dwellant. This innovative portal will provide greater transparency and improved reporting for clients and residents. Combining the strength and resources of a larger group with our personal, customer-first approach puts us in a strong position to continue growing and delivering exceptional service.”
