What happens if I don’t pay my service charges?
You have a legal obligation under the terms of your Lease or TP1 to pay your Service Charges in full and on time. These charges fund the essential services provided to your development.
Why prompt payment is critical
Premier Estates acts as a trustee of your Service Charge fund. This means we are legally required to ensure that all property owners contribute their share. If some residents do not pay, the available funds quickly become insufficient to cover key services.
Without the necessary funding, we may be forced to reduce or suspend services. These include cleaning, grounds maintenance, or essential repairs.
Consequences of non-payment
If payment is not received within the outlined timeframe, we will initiate our arrears procedure. Continued non-payment can lead to legal action being taken against you, which may result in court costs and additional fees being added to your account.
To avoid escalation, we strongly encourage you to contact us as soon as you become aware of any difficulty in making your payment. We may be able to offer support or payment arrangements where appropriate.
